A European point of view. An American connection.

Fabia Design Co. may be a new name, but its story began long before the first showroom was imagined.

I grew up in Germany near Ramstein U.S. Air Base, where German and American life naturally existed side by side. Years later, that connection became part of my professional life, too. After more than a decade in the furniture and interiors industry, I built my own furniture company in Germany, working closely with American military families stationed overseas.

Many of these families moved from one country to another, creating new homes wherever life took them. Working with them gave something I had always believed an even deeper meaning: how much a beautiful, thoughtfully furnished home can influence the way we feel, especially when so much around us is changing.

I saw how beautiful materials, quality craftsmanship, and carefully chosen pieces could turn an unfamiliar space into somewhere warm, personal, and truly comforting. A home isn't simply about where we live. It's about where we feel we belong.

Over the years, I designed furniture, curated collections, and built lasting relationships with exceptional makers across Europe and beyond. And eventually, I began imagining bringing that experience and my European approach to furniture and design to America.

Fabia Design Co. brings together the two worlds that have shaped so much of my life: my European roots and my long connection to America.

Our collection reflects my love for solid wood, beautiful natural materials, exceptional craftsmanship, and furniture with character. Some pieces are understated, others make a statement. But every piece is chosen with the same intention: to create homes that feel personal, inviting, and unmistakably yours.

When I began imagining bringing this vision to the United States, Chattanooga felt like a natural place to begin. My connection to the city is a personal one. I first came here to celebrate my sister beginning a new chapter in her life. Nearly a decade later, I'm returning to begin one of my own.
